Normally not the biggest of fans of Linus(nothing against them) but this new AMD CPU is INSANE. Only reason I dont make an article about it myself is because I dont have 20k dollars to get a machine with one.
This CPU has almost double the cores(192) as their previous highest core count CPU had(128), supports RAM faster than desktop(6400MT/s) CPUs do(which is a first for server CPUs) and up to 6 TERABYTES of RAM per socket, has 128 GEN 5 PCIe lanes and a TDP barely higher than last gen(400W vs 500W)
Near the end of the video they did an insane test, running 192 virtual machines on Proxmov, each using software decode to play a youtube video on a normal browser(and windows 11) and they managed to work just fine. This CPU is just crazy powerful.
