If you were online a couple minutes ago, you saw the website look different suddenly, then go down and now back to normal. That wasn’t a server error, nor your browser acting up.
With how wordpress’ current CEO has been acting, and his awful decision to basically slowdown wordpress development, I’ve been actively looking for alternatives. One such alternative is classicpress, a fork of wordpress which is lighter and better taken care of. I downloaded their plugin and did a quick test to see how well this website would work under it and, to my surprise, most stuff works out of the box! Even plugins!
So if wordpress doesn’t get its shi# together? That’s the first alternative I’ll pick, although I also have others in mind.
