Like I commented on a couple days ago, Mediatek’s Dimensity 9500 seemed pretty interesting, but now it’s Qualcomm’s turn with their new X2 Elite SOC lineup.

The new specs are crazy, specially the Extrme version and its 18 cores. They’re all made using TSMC’s 3nm nodes, have a lot of cache(for an ARM CPU), LPDDR5 up to 9523 MT/s(128GB capacity), new Adreno GPUs(which tend to be ahead of ARM’s Mali, usually used by mediatek), 80 TOPS NPU, etc. You can see the full specs here.
These are exciting times for the ARM ecosystem, specially if samsung now steps up and produces new CPUs that can compete. With these specs, maybe in the not-so-far future, we will see more ARM CPUs on PCs
