Everywhere you look, you see idiots, corruption, both or worse.
Looking at Europe, you’ll see a bunch of idiot boomers in power, taking 5 business months to take any action and normally its the wrong one(looking at you, UK, and your stupid age verification cancer). Germans forgot WW2 and want to elect the far right AfD(which, likely sponsored by Russia to fuck europe). Portuguese started thinking they’re the best and want everyone, legally there or not, out. France and Poland being held hostage, by the balls, by a handful of farmers, trying to kill the Mercosur-EU deal.
In the U.S. you see a rich boomer in power, because half the country are retarded rednecks who fall for any sufficiently repeated lies(and yes, this would be offensive to them, if they could read).
Argentinians are losing every single worker and civilian rights they have, getting so poor they can’t afford a steak and the latest trend is deep fried pidgeons, and still their population is filled with racist assholes who think themselves as the europeans of south america and can’t even lose a football match without being sore, aggressive, losers.
Then in comes Brazil, where 49.9% would vote for Hitler Jr next election, even if he personally fucked their mothers and shot their fathers, and conveniently ignores every single piece off news exposing his corruption for the past decade. Meanwhile the only opposition wants to ban discord, because instagram allowed a kid to be manipulated into killing themselves(parents? that’s not a real thing! Why should we expect parents to watch over, protect and teach their kids about online safety?).
The rest of latin america is all filled with the same kind of far-right Shittlers, who weirdly enough all share this insatiable desire to suck on U.S.’ dick until their balls shrink(totally unrelated to anything C.I.A. I’m sure).
Africa is the same shithole as its ever been, because after centuries of being molested by europe(and still having their money controled by europe to this day. Looking at you France), and having several different cultures that hate each other forced together, you can’t expect anything good.
Asia is half improving fast as fuck, like Vietnam and China, and half being extremely autistic. Japanese and their arrogance pride elected an incompetent person because they were angry at immigrants and now without immigrant money/workers, their country is falling apart. South Korea invested and is investing even more in the A.I. bubble, trying to see those 8k points on their stock market instead of fixing their long lasting issues with housing and woman being abused. India is, as usual, a whore who’ll do anything for money/deals and then regret later when the evil-asshole they did the deal with fucks them over.
Finally there’s Russia and I don’t think there’s a single good thing that has happened to that shithole in the last 10 years. Their “president”(dictator) started a war he can’t stop nor win(if he stops, he loses power and dies. And about 1 million russians already died to that retarded war), their people are constantly molested(not always physically) by the rich/government and everyone is back to hating and suspecting everything Russia related. They were so close to stopping that ~12 years ago, and now all that progress is gone.
What the fuck happened to the planet?
Go back 15 years and none of this was even imaginable. Russia attacking Ukraine? Why? Americans electing a massive, obviously corrupt, retard? Never. Far right in Brazil, after the decades of suffering at the hands of the military dictatorship of 1964(Fuck you U.S. btw)? Impossible. Europe returning to far right? 1940 never again. Japanese being stupid and xenophobic? They study and are too nice for that. South Korea going all in on a bubble? Nah they know better. Billionaires molesting the entire planet and getting away with it? Impossible, the world is improving!
And the world was fucking improving! God, I remember the streets being nicer, buildings had cool graffiti art, you looked at the news and there were always a cool new tech made, incredible scientific discoveries, THERE WAS HOPE.
WHERE DID IT ALL GO?
15 years was all it took to turn every hopeful bastard like me into a jaded pessimist who can’t even be sure oxygen will be free next month.
