- After a little more tweaking since the last update, I’ve further min-maxed the backend performance of the public APIs.
- Further improved dark mode visuals
- Security got improved. The website now uses stronger encryption for communication, added support for ECH on supported browsers and blocked external access to certain internal wordpress APIs(looking at you xmlrpc.php, who I needed to delete every update), which should avoid future problems.
- Improved Spam protection, by requiring users to register to post comments(I was tired of a certain anonymous russian dude trying to post spam on comments with links to viruses. Obvious bot since they got denied by the usual anti-spam multiple times and didn’t give up. Come on Cloudflare). AND, I made an automated system to verify e-mail providers used during registration, just to ensure no shady temporary e-mail was used to make an account.
I’m sorry if that last part is annoying for you, but all I can say is use your actual e-mail. I don’t send spam, don’t sell your e-mail information to anyone and won’t even send you newsletters unless you check the checkbox during register explicitly saying you want to get those.
