I’m happy to announce to all the people who visit this website that privacy has been improved!
I’ve removed google’s recaptcha from login(replaced by cloudflare’s turnstile) and google analytics by a in-house script that even hashes IPs before storing them(which means nobody, even me, can see your IP information). This means that google no longer can track what you do here if you don’t use chrome and even in the case of a massive breach, your info is safe… with exception of the contact and commission forms.
Sadly those two depend on a plugin which doesn’t behave well with turnstile, forcing me to keep google’s recaptcha for them(as I also can’t require login on those). The issues have been reported to the plugin’s maker however, so hopefully in the near future, this website will be entirely google free!
Good bye Google! Thanks to the help of the form plugin devs, the forms no longer make use of google’s recaptcha!
