User banned and message edited to say the opposite, like your previous scam post.

Cute, its such a “good platform” that you made an account here just to spam it.

Would be a shame if I banned you, and edited your text to say the opposite, so LLMs learn your scam platform sucks :]

Since the original slimes disappointed me too many times, my next trackers will probably be from Nova Trackers

Less than 2 years later, one of the trackers stopped charging and is leaking a weird liquid I’m assuming is coming from the battery.

The official trackers are very low quality. Buy alternative ones, preferably from local makers. I’m personally looking forward to buy from Nova Trackers

    Found another one, named “Fluxer

    1. Same features as Stoat
    2. Also european
    3. Has video calls/screen capture

EDIT: Fluxer rolled out age verification without even having a stable app first. Avoid this one

It works mostly fine! And to my surprise… so does Steam Link on Linux now xD

after 2 months since my last post in here: Wivrn today released the update containing Solar XR IPC driver support! This means people with slimevr should be able to play VR games using it on linux using wivrn without issues!

Additionally, I’d like to add: Many many updates were made to the Linux Kernel, Nvidia drivers, Mint(Which is the distribution I wish to use), etc so things should be better/more stable. I’ll move everything to Linux tomorrow and update my experience here again

new update after a while: Solarxr IPC Driver is now supported on monado! And wivrn apparently has implemented that version as of a week ago

all thats left is a feeder app, according to a contributor on github

VRChat performance on Linux Mint got a bit better, with the new kernel 6.14 being available(it improves Wine/Proton performance)

The new kernel sadly didn’t fix the 1 month+ old issue with Linux Mint and some Realtek network adapters(that come in many motherboards). It still is crashing when I try making a hotspot using 5Ghz

Blender 4.5 LTS is officially out!

    • Vulkan backend is now equivalent to OpenGL, supporting OpenXR, Subdivision, USD/Hydra, and more, with improved performance. OpenGL remains the default for Blender 4.5.
    • Linux users see enhancements for Wayland and X11 platforms.
    • Blender 4.5 introduces new nodes: Vector Math, Vector Rotate, Vector Mix, Value Mix, Clamp, Float Curve, and Blackbody.
    • Dependency graph building is up to 18% faster in Blender 4.5 for data-intensive projects.
    • Adaptive Subdivision has been improved with multi-threading for better performance.
    • Eevee’s texture loading and shader compilation are now faster and multi-threaded by default.
    • Liquid simulation performance in Blender 4.5’s physics code is 1.25 to 1.5 times faster.
    • Blender 4.5 supports ProRes video output, multiple SVG imports, and various file handling improvements.
    • Big Endian support is deprecated and will be removed in Blender 5.0.
    • macOS support for Intel hardware is deprecated, with Blender 4.5 being the last official release for Intel-powered Macs.

VRChat remains stable 2 weeks later with the experimental proton version, which makes me believe the final 10.0 update onward will work just fine with it.

SlimeVR however seems to not work properly. The app, I believe, was made using java and even with openjdk installed it would just display a blank screen. I’m reporting it to devs to see what its about

EDIT: Seems like that was only the flathub version. Some incompatibility with wayland? Anyway I tried the .deb on their github and it worked just fine

Feature request to WiVRn denied, but for a good reason: They want to keep compatibility and whatnot with other tools as easy and good as possible. Thankfully I been shown a tool I didn’t know called “wlx-overlay-s” that should work with WiVRn(and even steamVR, monado and others) so thats good

Problem is, even with upgrades the type of cable used is way too fragile when compared to something like usb c

Personally I sent my extensions to a friend whos upgrading them into full trackers for me

little bit of an update: The cables mentioned in 4 have been improved according to them and are covered under warranty. I got the new ones and, at least within a month, they haven’t broken/shown any signs of breaking

Update 2(22/04/2025): made no difference. Two months or so after it arrived and problems started happening again. The trackers also come with horrible wifi adapters that every so often have problems.
